Whats up fellas! I wanted to invite any of you that can make it to the Pigs on Bikes rally in Branson, MO this coming May 14th-16th. As I said it is in Branson, MO which if you are not familiar: BEAUTIFUL riding territory! Here is link from our website with the flyer: http://www.blueironmc.com/events.htm Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see it. This promises to be a GREAT time and if you are interested in riding with my club over there you are more than welcome to come along. Our New York chapter, Northwest Indiana Chapter and Indianapolis (my) chapter will be heading out together (at least we hope, LOL). I will let you know what date/time we are planning on leaving to get there when we iron that out! Also, for those not familiar, the president of my club (Sledge) started the National Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club Association a while back and this will be the national event for the NLEMCA in 2009. There will be several dozen different LEMCs there, I'm sure several different chapters of the Blue Knights will be there as well. Any questions just give me a shout.

Just to let you all know. If anyone wants to ride with a pack to Branson in May: The guys are leaving Fishers at 0800 on May 14th. They should be through the Haute area around 0930-1000. As of right now I am planning on meeting up with the group at the east Wal-Mart parking lot and heading out from there.

I rode to the Anderson Casino this weekend among other things (close to 600 miles total) ..... and was very impressed by it. It is a large casino like those in Vegas, Tunica, Atlantic City. The only downfall is that the table games are limited and are e-tables with digital/video cards and some mixed up Max Headroom looking video dealers - very intriquing to say the least. Anyhooo, the ride from Seelyville is almost exactly 2 hours, I-70 to 465 on the EAST side of Indianapolis, North 465 to I-69, I-69 to exit 26 (Anderson Horse Track). Plenty of bike parking with concrete kickstand pads at the front door of the casino. A very easy day trip leave town at 10a, return to town at 6pm.
Also, I would be interested in getting the group together for a trip to Pt Byron, IL. Pt Byron is where my parent s live and is located on the Mississippi River. There are casinos here too. August 2009 they will have the 23rd annual TUGFEST. TugFest is a sight to behold, teams of 20 square off on the Illinois and Iowa side of the river and literally have a tug of war across the river. It is the only time all navigatable traffice comes to a stop on the Mighty Mississip! The rope alone weighs 900ls dry and 1200lbs wet toward the end of the event.. My Pop's house has plenty of restrooms, bedrooms, couches, camping space, inground swimming pool and planty of drinks in the lower level party fridge. He would welcome having us ride over for the tug. This would require a Friday ride over leave at 2pm arrive at 6pm IL time (fireworks on the river at 9p) and Sunday ride back - Saturday is the FEST. A great time lots of fun and great people.
Keep these in mind and we'll talk later. B-Dog

THE SECRET IS OUT! Now is the time to plan for a fun filled weekend. June 12, 2009 we will depart for Metropolis, IL for their annual Superman Celebration. http://www.supermancelebration.net/. Celebrities’ such as Noel Neill (the original Lois Lane), Allison Mack, & Ned Beatty regularly attend this event. Saturday June 13, will be a free day to rub elbows with super heroes. If that’s not enough, you could attend the Kentucky State HOG Rally that will be going on in Paducah, KY (right across the river) or you can spend your time at Harrah’s where you can hone your gambling skills. We will then return to the Indy area on June 14. Please let me know if you’re interested so I can try to block some rooms. This is an open event and I hope to have a nice sized group…capes optional. Ken Whisman- kcwhisman@aol.com. This is an open ride that will have participants from Indianapolis HOG Chapter 1 and Blue Knight III

Doctors vs Gunowners
Doctors
(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.
(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians Per year are 120,000.
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.
Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services.
/>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Now think about this:
Guns
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million)
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188.
Statistics courtesy of FBI
/>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.
/>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'
/>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.
/>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.
We must ban doctors
before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!
Out of concern for the public at large, I withheld the statistics on lawyers
for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention!

The basis of the argument is that guns inherently are evil and not to be possessed by the public. GUNS kill people they eliminate the whole person thing from the equation - I repeat guns are the target here - not the owners. That being said I would think that most gun owners possess/own numerous guns - I for instance am not a hunter or sportsman. I do have a vocation that requires I carry a gun - I am comfortable with that however, as a what I would consider a 'no-gun' guy - I have a staggering number of guns, AK-47 assault rifle, 1943 P-38 from WWII with nazi war eagles on it, 2 glock model 22 .040 gen 1 and gen 3, .306 sniper rifle bolt action, 2 .22LR Rifles - a whooping seven! and no shotguns!! So conservatively lets say on average every gun owner has 3 (a paltry 3), I know guys who have 100's, I know people with one, but let's use three as our magic number. 3 x 80 million = 240 million divided by 1500 (accidental deaths by gun) = ARE YOU READY FOR THIS ?????? = .00000625 !!! I mean what the hell? Less than 7 per every 10 million! Unreal!

This club needs everyone - that includes YOU! I was hoping to have a group photo taken with the new colors for those that have them in a month or so. This will be a rear shot for our website and the WI XI website (the folks who sold us our new threads). They will send challenge coins for those who in the picture - at least they did for me and that's what the site says. There are a limited number of us on this site so we need to make the other members aware.
Continued health and success, in the wind, B-Dog

Please watch this video. It is very important that we don’t let this happen to us. Lets stop it now. I am sending this to all people that I know and sending to everyone that I know. I don’t want to lose my right to own guns, to hunt, to defend myself or others. If you don’t care to own a gun, hunt, or have a gun for the means of defense, please continue this on anyway. What right will they take that you depend on. It starts with one and ends when we have no rights.

We had a dinner meeting instead of our normal club buisness meeting this past wednesday. We had several in attendance, had good food, and discussed a small amount of buisness. It was discussed to do this again this next month. It was put to an informal vote and agreed upon. Ron Foster is checking into Hickory Bob or something like that in Brazil. If they will accomadate us we will let you know where it is. If not we will find another spot and let you guys know that also.
