Dont forget that we are ordering colors just after this next months meeting. I need the money by then so I can send our order in. Let me know if you plan on getting your colors. They are $65 each and look awsome. There is a pic on here of em.
Also tell everyone about this site. I would like to see more of our members on here and more activity. Show the gusys that are on the fence that we are doing something with this club this time.

Gents,
We need to formulate a better chain of communication. Coyle, Coop, and I showed up for this ride.....which turned out to be cancelled. We had NO IDEA that it had been cancelled. Think of some ideas for contacting members when an event/ride is cancelled and we'll discuss it at our next meeting. For example....Verizon Cell Phone customers can have a text sent to them via email. It's simply the phone number@vtext.com. So....mine would be 8126051291@vtext.com but only short messages can be sent. 140 characters....and spaces count as a character. I'm not aware if Sprint, Cingular etc...have an option like that.

Thanks to everyone for calling and sending their best to me. I write this just to let everyone know what is going on, as there are many rumors going around at work.
Brent is correct on what he has writen. I was working on a race car out in the garage when Brent called and wanted to know if I was willing to go on a short ride with him. At that time I told him I had to get my daughters race car done. So he came over to the house instead. By the time he got to the house I had figured what the heck and went riding. We went past Rick Porters house to see if he was there. I didnt see him around so we kept going. We rode up to Greenvalley mine property and hung out there for a little bit and were shooting the bull. I had to work that night so I told him I had to take off. We rode out together and at the intersection of Lowere Sandford rd and Concannon we parted ways. We waved good bye to each other and went on. I made it about half a mile and was traveling pretty good. The road was clear and I saw nothing to eather side of the road. out of a tall grass field came a deer. I didnt see it until it hit me. It must have been at a dead run ( pun intended). It struck me in the side., hitting mostly my lower leg. Thats when everything went into slow motion. I can remember hitting the deer with my shoulder like a line backer while still being seated on my bike. The deer also took my hand off of my bar. Me, the deer and my bike started tumbling and skidding. I then separated from my bike and was on my right side. I some how rolled to my stomache. I remember thinking i have to keep my body off of hte ground so I put my hands out and was sliding backwards in a push up like position. I also remember thinking that my hands were getting tore up. I could fill my finger tips tearing off but it didnt hurt at that time. I came to a stop, got up and walked away from my bike and past the deer.

Brothern,
Good news. I have the new membership packets and the renewal cards for the other members. By my count we have 17 members (2 thanks to Rick Porter for paying their dues and getting stuck for em) I believe if we reach either 20 or 21 we can get another honorary member and increase our numbers. We also need a chaplain. The Chaplain can be but is not limited to a law enforcement officer. They do have to be an ordained minister of a recognized church ( no certificates from We love John Chapel of Davis). The next meeting would be a great time to come and pick your stuff up. So for you guys that have been griping now is your chance to come and get em. I am going to hold on to these until they are picked up in person ( unless there is a legitimate reason ie work, custody night ect.). If you want your packet come to a meeting or a ride. Hope to see you all at the next meeting. God bless John Davis
